Word game

Today’s blog topic: Find a word you don’t know, but like, and use it in a short, paragraph length, story, or a clever sentence. Here is mine:

We rode through the trees, the deep forest making a viridescent vault above our heads as we passed through the holy dappled light, the silence church-like except for the quiet purring of the engines and the crunch of decomposing leaves under our tires.

  1. I used a word I did not know to provide your with a custom alliteration:
The tapping of the tire treads (in your video) transmitted the tones transorbitally, testing my tinnitus and teasing me tantalizingly throughout your talkativeness. Thanks, Jo
